Come with us to the Gemmi and get to know the bearded vulture and its habitat - in an environment where the history of the landscape, fauna and flora are closely linked and where nature teaches us its laws.
Jägerboden Gemmi
Silence, pure nature and a wintry, high-alpine mountain backdrop await you. From the historic Gemmi Pass, the shorter Gemmi snowshoe trail climbs via "Lämmerenalp" up to "Kummen" and back again in a circular tour.
Gemmi Trail
The Gemmi Trail is as much a part of Leukerbad as the thermal waters. After the steep ascent, you will be rewarded by the unique panorama over the Valais Alps.
Daubensee Lake Gemmi
High above Leukerbad, the alpine cross-country ski trail makes its smooth loop over Lake Dauben and the historic Gemmi plateau. With the imposing mountain backdrop, this is a winter highlight for all cross-country skiing fans.
Glacier trail and Lämmeren mountain refuge
Hike along the glacier trail across the Lämmerenboden plateau, from the Gemmi Pass to the Lämmeren hut. Located at the foot of the Wildstrubel massif, the refuge offers fine views of the Valais Alps.
Gemmipass to Kandersteg
On a leisurely hike between the Gemmi and Sunnbüel you cross the cantonal border. A varied hiking trail with a unique panorama.
