This additional sports facility provides the visitors to Leukerbad with new opportunities and perspectives. The first 18-hole golf course in the Rhone valley plain is located about 25 km from Leukerbad and is half an hour's drive from the spa resort. The par 72 golf course has an overall length of 6270 metres and is open for golfing 10 months a year.

Not far from the golf course is the Pfynwald, one of the largest continuous and protected pine forests in Europe. From an ornithological viewpoint Leukerfeld has also attained significance on Swiss level. Furthermore, one of the best wine growing regions for red wine surrounds the golf course: a truly unique setting for the 18-hole golf course.
