Carnival,
16th - 21st February 2012
Carnival is very special event in the Leukerbad region, and features everything from guggen-music concerts to vintage ski races to a big children���s parade. In 2012, the masked F��dinis will be back in Leukerbad and its neighbouring villages.
Thursday, 16 February 2012:
Fat Thursday (Leukerbad village square)
11 a.m. Festival fun with risotto and other refreshments accompanied by musical entertainment from the Tschabu-Schr��nzer guggen music group
2 p.m. Children���s parade from through Leukerbad from Walliserstube restaurant to the village square
Evening, Beizenfasnacht carnival
Friday, 17 February 2012:
14th Albinen Carnival (Albinen)
5 p.m. Carnival celebrations in local restaurants and a children���s parade (weather permitting)
7 p.m. H��nnegagser carnival parade through Albinen
Saturday, 18 February 2012:
F��di races (from Obere Maresse to Leukerbad)
11 a.m. Festival fun with refreshments and musical entertainment from the Tschabu-Schr��nzer guggen music group
1 p.m. Start of the traditional F��di races
21st ball hosted by the Tschabu-Schr��nzer guggen music group (Sportarena Leukerbad)
7:30 p.m. Parade from Leukerbad town hall to Sportarena Leukerbad
8 p.m. Festival fun with refreshments and musical entertainment from the Dolomiten Banditen
9 p.m. Concerts by various guggen music groups

Tuesday, 21 February 2012:
Gigi-Zisch day (Leukerbad village square)
7 p.m. Beizenfasnacht carnival followed by the burning of the ���Gingil��� and the carnival closing ceremony on the village square
